The Communist Party called for the transformation of independent India into a socialist India to replace political independence with economic and social independence for every Indian. Communists of India have done tremendous work in building the concept of Indianness. We can strengthen the sense of Indianness only by harmonizing those who are exploited in rural areas those who suffer from socio-economic oppression especially those who suffer from outdated caste-based oppression those who speak different languages those who belong to plural faiths and above all those who are excluded from socio-economic political inclusive development.
