The incidence of foot lesions in diabetics has been steadily increasing in recent years. They are a source of amputation the incidence of which could be reduced by screening at-risk feet. Objective: To identify the podiatric risk in diabetic patients by determining the neurological vascular and other aggravating factors that influence the podiatric risk. Finally to proceed to the gradation of the podiatric risk in the studied diabetic patients.It was a prospective descriptive and analytical study that took place in the Department of Medicine and Endocrinology of the Mali Hospital from May 1 2019 to October 31 2019 or a period of 6 months.At the end of our study we collected 95 diabetic patients according to the inclusion criteria of the study. The female sex was predominant including 51 cases or a frequency of 53.7% with a sex ratio of 0.86. The mean age was 56.86±0.21 years with extremes of 26 and 80 years. Our study found 42.1% overweight cases and 14.7% obese cases (BMI>=25).
