Ideology and Understanding

<p><em>Ideology and Understanding</em> looks at the ways in which ideology works in order to reveal the threat that it poses to our understanding. Using an intra-disciplinary and trans-historical analysis the text grants its reader the most comprehensive examination of ideology it can muster. In so doing it locates a firm vantage point from which can be resolved social antagonisms by way of altering the epistemological foundation of contemporary society. Ideology and Understanding follows a dark deliberate delicate path to and from this vantage point in search of a fundamental relationship to understanding such that the individual might begin to navigate the world himself and the Other - a path towards understanding that is transcendent of ideology yet beyond the measure of method.</p>
