Idiomatic Expressions and Strategies

The present book intends to analyze translation of the idiomatic expressions in two American movies (Pulp Fiction & Kill Bill). For this purpose an approved framework was needed to better extract the strategies used in translation of the idioms and to better elaborate the translation process. Since this study is based on decision making process for investigation of the processes happened for the translators during their translation the classification proposed by Baker has been selected as the framework of the present study. Based on conducted research and obtained statistics it would be noted that the result was sound great.
