If You Give a Cat a Kolache

<p>Brooks Byrd wrote <em>If You Give a Cat a Kolache</em> when he was 7 years old. Reading writing and drawing are some of his favorite activities. Laura Numeroff’s <em>If You Give...</em>Series inspired Brooks to create his own circular tale involving a cat and one of his favorite foods—a kolache. Brooks decided to publish his work in the hopes that more kids will read and create their own stories to share.</p>
