Illness and Household Health Expenditure Patterns

This study entitled Illness and Household Health Expenditure A Comparative Study of Rural and Urban Households in Anantnag District of Jammu and Kashmir is an attempt to explore the patterns of illness and household health expenditure in Anantnag district of Jammu and Kashmir. This exploratory study gives a detailed description of health disease and healthcare related conditions in rural as well as urban areas and makes a comparison between the two. The study goes beyond the biomedical perspective on illness and health and takes sociology of health approach towards the identified objectives.
