The stories mix sidesplitting slapstick with historical and political imperative yet all are invitingly readable and each in their own way extremely thought provoking. The verses include themes of heterosexual love single sex relationships death and dying and of Mans' sacrifices from biblical times right up to the present day. One or two exhibit a mix of intrigue and are suggestive of clandestine activities. And without mentioning real names readers may decide for themselves about the participants and places where some of the action takes place. There are no holds barred here as many of the scenarios and settings race across countries and continents. And if all this was not enough there is even a short selection of Children's' tales. I'm Coming Out Of Made-up! is the second anthology of poems and short stories by Finbar Hanaghan (from the original ideas of Barry Thomas Harris) and follows on from As I Rhymember It! first published in 2023. A reviewer of the first book wrote...Without becoming overly sentimental his poems with pleasing cadence speak of humanity in all its raw and glorious forms.
