A series of new 2-(1-(aminomethyl)cyclohexyl)acetic acid derivatives 4a-j was synthesized and their biological activity was determined. The chemical structures were confirmed by elemental analyses UV-visible FT-IR and 1H NMR spectral studies. The structure-activity relationship for antioxidant activity was discussed. Most of the new compounds showed DPPH radical scavenging activity where compounds 4f 4d and 4e were the best radical scavengers.
