Immunities of elected politicians and the right of victims to criminal justice in Congolese positive law

1. The criminal immunities of elected politicians are not without their difficulties in relation to the right of access to criminal justice (section I) and there is not much case law (section II).2. Due to its geographical position bordering nine other countries the DRC is called upon to receive refugees fleeing their respective countries in the event of conflict namely: Rwanda Burundi Uganda Angola the Republic of Congo and the Central African Republic. World history shows that the demographic transition phase corresponds to a period of great population mobility. Indeed it is when the population is growing at a high rate that the need to move from one area to another (from the city to the countryside from poor to richer areas) is most strongly expressed
