Impact of Livelihood Diversification on Food Security

Rural households food security is better understood from the perspective of livelihood diversification. Livelihood diversification is a point of departure for any policy interventions targeting to tackle food insecurity problems especially for rural households. The success of rural development policies and food security interventions is determined by the knowledge we have about the linkage between livelihood diversification and food security. Therefore livelihood diversification perspective is password to food insecurity problems.
