Impact of the Interventions of the NGO ACTION FOR PEACE AND CONCORD

The purpose of this work is to assess the impact of the interventions of the NGO “Action pour la Paix et la Concorde” in the resolution of conflicts and social cohesion in the Territory of Kalehe. Thus three questions guided our research in particular:- How does the NGO/APC proceed to manage community conflicts with a view to social cohesion in the Kalehe Territory?- What is the appreciation of the members of the communities of the interventions of this organization in relation to the management of conflicts and social cohesion?- What recommended priority strategies can contribute to the improvement of alternative interventions in the management of community conflicts in the Kalehe Territory?The results of this study motivate the formulation of the development of a program of solutions to community conflicts in the territory of Kalehe / South Kivu in the DRC following certain weaknesses of the APC of not being able to eradicate all conflicts in particular identity conflicts armed conflicts large-scale land conflicts which require sovereign responsibility.
