Impact of the Lubumbashi botanical garden on biology teaching

At a time when Africa is the great hope in the face of the phenomena of global warming which is one of the major scourges of our last decades the Democratic Republic of Congo which is at the centre of it is made up of a population whose major part remains uninformed about the real effects of massive uncontrolled exploitation especially without reforestation. As the light that allows the overall development of the community the school remains the only and greatest means par excellence of transmitting the values and knowledge that make up a whole people. According to the International Botanical Garden Conservation (IBGI) this world organisation defines botanical gardens as institutions that gather collections of documents and plants for the purpose of scientific research conservation exhibition and education. It is the turn of the Botanical Garden of Meise to add that the botanical garden is a place of discovery education observation and study of nature.
