Imperfect Paradise

<p><span style=color: rgba(0 0 0 1)>During the seventies Hollywood was a place for young lovers.  Ryan O'Neal and Ali McGraw found it; John Travolta and Olivia Newton John sang it; Robert Redford and Barbara Streisand immortalized it Peter Chandler and Darlene Donahue made it.</span></p><p></p><p><span style=color: rgba(0 0 0 1)>When attractive but not quite glamorous Darlene Donahue meets rising star Peter Chandler in 1975 Hollywood she doesn't believe in happy endings.  In her early twenties she is married but the husband she pledged to stay with forever has turned into a stranger who prefers the bottle to their marriage bed.  She feels as if her life has collided with a wrecking ball.  Unhappy and unsure of herself she is not looking for another man.  She has too much trouble with the one she already has.</span></p><p></p><p><span style=color: rgba(0 0 0 1)>Well-liked and charismatic Peter Chandler has had some lucky breaks and he knows it.  Starring as fireman James Dakota in a weekly television series he has trouble coping with the changes in his personal life brought on by his professional success.  He isn't looking for love until fate takes over.  He collides with Darlene in a crowded hotel ballroom and amidst a hailstorm of pearls they establish a compelling connection that neither of them can break. </span></p><p></p>
