Implanted External Trancutaneous Pacers.

To learn about Pacemaker we should Know about heart thoroughly such as ECG waveform action potential Depolarization and Re-polarization and its contents.  A pacemaker is a small device thats placed under the skin in the chest to help control the  heartbeat. Due to the fast development of electronics components batteries the pacemaker becomes small(less power consumption) with plenty of advantages such as programming non-invasively and longevity of battery so longevity of pacemaker. Implanted pacemaker is programmed non- invasively with transmitter and Receiver method. Transcutaneous pacing is accomplished by delivering pulses of electric current through the patients chest which stimulates the heart to contract. During TCP pads are placed on the patient’s chest either in antero-lateral position or anterior-posterior (AP) position.
