Implementing a Quality Management System in the Construction Industry

The development of this work is related to the concepts of the implementation of the Quality Management System and its operation within a company in the field of Civil Construction in accordance with ABNT NBR ISO 9001 given the demands of today's market. It shows the positive and negative advantages of the management process within a company in the construction industry. ISO 9001 certification comes as an alternative to improving the production system producing services and products with a quality standard that achieves customer satisfaction. The main idea is to demonstrate how a quality management system works in the construction industry and to clarify the main doubts about the process of implementing the system and certification.
