Imported malaria remains a public health problem in Tunisia especially among travelers from endemic areas. This study describes the epidemiological profile of cases admitted to the CHU La Rabta during the summer of 2024 and assesses the population's knowledge of the disease. Among the patients 78% were men aged between 15 and 45 mostly from sub-Saharan Africa. The level of knowledge of the general population was low (39%) and pre-travel consultation very limited. These results underline the need for increased awareness prevention and pre-travel medical consultations to limit the number of imported cases.
