Application of implants have largely been derived from conventional prosthetics. Precision is the prerequisite in prosthodontics and thus implantology. Success in Implantology depends on many aspects of which one of the most important is an accurate impression technique which is mandatory for passively fitting prosthesis. Failure to achieve passivity in prosthesis can lead to biological and mechanical complications.
