In a Boneyard in Galway

<p>These poems were written over a period of time in Ireland in Boeing jets over the Atlantic and at home. They owe a great deal to the enthusiasm of my students in the Modern Irish Literature class I taught for more than twenty-five years at the University of Connecticut. They also owe a great deal to my colleagues and other professors poets artists and writers whose friendship and association over decades stimulated me and my love for the great literature of this tiny island. </p>
