In Between Faith

In her debut collection of poems Dana Stringer pulls no punches crisscrossing the sacred territory of a complex church culture where some things are permitted other things are judged and everything else is swept under the rug. After serving twelve years in ministry the poet wrestles with ambivalence toward the institution that helped build and strengthen her faith in God while simultaneously fostering doubt and disillusionment by some of its propaganda and practices.
