In Defense of Misfortune

<p>I'm invited into people's lives a lot less than my archnemesis Lady Fortune-I'd go as far as to say I'm never invited with all the confetti cannons glasses of champagne and fanfare reserved especially for her. But don't get me wrong. I play a unique role and deliver what my archrival could never deliver. A little compassion a whole lot of strength and a great deal of forgiveness are inspired by the misadventures sent by me. I shift perspectives like nothing else on earth can. So I'm not without value here. I'll safely bet your long-held perceptions about me will change when you dig deeper into my soul in <em>In Defense of Misfortune</em>.</p>
