Even the greatest can falter In Evil Times...Mercedes the future ruler of the Solar League and her commoner classmate Tracy both have secured their dreams in becoming part of the elite officer corps of the Solar League. However while separated by class and light years both must struggle with their government and sense of justice as settlers both alien and humans in the Hidden Worlds are forced to bend to the might of the government and its expectations of them. In a society where most aliens and humans are second class citizens both young officers are faced with a stark decision; to betray their principles and morals or betray a government that they have both sworn to serve.
