<p><i>In His Hands </i>is the true story of the author and her struggle to live a Christian life as the daughter of an alcoholic father. Her mother strived to raise seven children to be God-fearing people. This she did with a minimal help of her husband. The children had little but they were happy when their father was not drinking. He quit drinking when the children grew up and left home.<p>
