IN INDIAN RAILWAYS THE THIRD CLASS

<p>Among the many suggestions for dealing with the evil described here I respectfully suggest that those in high places such as the Viceroy the Commander-in-Chief the Rajas Maharajas Imperial Councillors and others who generally travel in superior classes be subjected to occasional third-class travel without prior notice. We would soon witness a significant improvement in third-class travel conditions and the uncomplaining millions would receive some compensation for the tickets they pay in the expectation of being transported from point A to point B with ordinary creature amenities.</p><p></p>
