His determination never waned in over seven decades. </p><p class=ql-align-justify>When I married into his family in 1972 I quickly realised that he was a man on a mission. Nothing and nobody could or would change his mind set in his quest to be rich. But there was a huge price to pay for his obsessive and often eccentric behaviour. </p><p class=ql-align-justify>Even when Norman reached his goal of having a million pounds he continued his penny-pinching ways with profound consequences.
