In Solitary With God

In Solitary With God provides spiritual formation and direction to the solitary individualengaged in a personal journey of spirit heart and soul in search of deepening their relationship with God. The materials are drawn from a program Spiritual Formation in Segregation developed by a prison ministry chaplain seeking to reach prisoners placed in long term segregation. Isolated from other prisoners and experiencing a loss of human connectedness the material invites the reader into a community of faith the larger Body of Christ. The author engages the reader in the Christian disciplines of faith prayer love grace silence forgiveness community and discipleship enriched with prayers and reflections to support a personal growth in holiness.
