In the Beginning

In the Beginning is a 30-lesson Sunday School curriculum written in the SOAP format of Scripture Observation Application and Prayer. The curriculum walks students through the Book of Genesis exploring creation; the entrance of sin into the world; Noah and the Ark the patriarchs Abraham Isaac and Jacob; and the story of Joseph. The curriculum ends with a look at how Jesus is present in Genesis even though we don't see Him by name. Each lesson includes a memory verse and at least one arts and crafts suggestion. Most lessons also include an activity suggestion. This curriculum introduces prayer journaling for older students. An appendix at the end provides templates for prayer journal pages and for supplemental lesson discussion at home.
