About the Author: Mohammad Aftab Alam did his graduation from Aligarh Muslim University Aligarh and subsequently post graduation and M.Phil from Centre for Political Studies Jawaharlal Nehru University New Delhi. Later on he completed his Ph.D from Department of Political Science Aligarh Muslim University Aligarh Uttar Pradesh. Starting his teaching career from Jagdam College Jai Prakash University Chhapra Bihar he joined the Department of Political Science Aligarh Muslim University Aligarh in 2006 and currently working as Professor of Political Science. Besides his interests in Indian Politics: Structure and Processes Political Theory and Globalization and Development Studies he is also in writing short stories memoirs and portraits of people and places encountered.
