In The Garden Of The Beloved

<p>The poems within were written with only one purpose; to Brighten.</p><p>To Brighten hope in the Hearts of those in whom The Ember at the</p><p>Heart of Being is not yet aglow. To Brighten the Ember in Hearts</p><p>within which it flickers tenuously. To Brighten the Flame in Hearts</p><p>already Aglow in the Light of the Soul the Atman the Self; whatever</p><p>one chooses to call our Essence.</p><p> </p><p>My hope for you dear reader is that these poems are not merely</p><p>pleasing words on a page however uplifting but are imbued with</p><p>The Fragrance of that which is written of; that which calls to each of</p><p>us from our Deepest Interiority.</p><p> </p><p>There are as many paths to God as there are souls on earth.</p><p>Therefore I say This is my experience not Truth'.</p><p>Therefore I say I went this way not This is The way.</p><p>Therefore I say For me Love sufficed not For all Love suffices.</p><p>Therefore I say I know only this not I have the answer.</p><p>Therefore I say These are my words not Speak this way.</p><p>Each Flower emanates a Fragrance unique unto its kind.</p><p>And in all my life I have never seen a Rose at war with Jasmine.</p>
