Now faced with something that he cannot adequately deal with Neil is led to a mystical place known as the Library where he reads one by one the stories of those who have come before him. Each of these Book Characters reveals his or her story to Neil and thus he learns much about pain coping and the human condition before he himself reaches a resolution to his own catastrophe. As Neil too reflects on his experiences this book also contains an analysis of the work as presented by its author to provide deeper insights into the narrative.
