The book In the Mao Zedong era is a memoir about the lives of the Chinese people for better or worse - before and after the liberation in China focusing on the period from 1949 to 1976. We follow the author's own life looking back at the historical events of that period. She hopes that through this book more people around the world will understand the true historical story of China during the Mao Zedong´s time.
