<p>Raised by a single dad working two jobs the four Hollis siblings have been navigating life with little guidance from anyone other than their oldest sister.</p><p> </p><p>As a new school year begins things quickly unravel for the four of them causing their oblivious dad to wonder how he had missed so many things happening right under his nose.</p><p> </p><p>Growing up too fast falling in love battling a mind that works against you clinging to the only thing you know wondering about the mother who's been gone for longer than she was around they have no choice but to face the music of life together.</p><p> </p><p>Told in two parts with alternating points of view this story is an intense fast-paced no nonsense look at growing up in a household held together by food stamps and family in a small Midwestern town.</p>
