In- Vivo Biological Activities and Therapeutic Effect of Vitex doniana

This Book demonstrates the in-Vivo biological activities and therapeutic effect of ethanol extracts of different parts (leaves stem bark and root bark) of Vitex doniana plant especially as it relates to its ability to lower the lipid profile and the most atherogenic risks indices in hyperlipidemic rats. The results indicates that all the extracts posses high antihyperlipidemic activity the most effective being the leaves extract. This work thus provides the phytotheraupeutic potential of leaves stem bark and root bark of Vitex doniana.
