Incidence and prevalence of tobacco use among school going children

The Aim of the study is to investigate the knowledge and awareness of school going children in Jaipur district of Rajasthan regarding the ill- effects of tobacco and its products through a self-reported questionnaire and to counsel them at early age.OBJECTIVES-1. Assess the awareness and knowledge of school going children in Rajasthan about harmful effects of tobacco and its products.2. Counselling them at early stage to prevent the use of tobacco.3. Suppressing the prevalence of potentially malignant disorders and oral cancers.
