The Aim of Inclusive education is to ensure that each child is given every opportunity to perform to his/her fullest potential. The restructuring of environment and the curriculum is the need of the hour especially in a country like India where disparities about educational opportunities have been prevalent for decades. Some recent facts covered in a report by Centre for human Ecology Tata Institute of Social Sciences Deonar India (2014) on children and mental well-being have quoted as follows: i. 1 in every 10 school-going children have some form of learning disability estimate studies. ii. 14% of global disease burden attributed to neuropsychiatric disorders (including autism Down’s syndrome attention deficit hyperactive disorder) in children. iii. 10%- of 5-15 year olds in India have a diagnosable mental health disorder; around 90% of them do not receive any specialized services says a UNESCO report (2008) iv.About 39% kids below 5 not reaching developmental potential because of poverty malnutrition high rates of infection lack of education and instability in the home in developing nations.
