Inclusive Entrepreneurship Ecosystem Playbook

<p>Everyone agrees that inclusion has never been more important than it is now but how exactly we can create and nurture inclusive systems is still largely unknown. In this <em>Playbook</em> the authors have boiled the process of creating inclusive entrepreneurial ecosystems down to 11 critical steps. Henry Golatt has decades of experience in economic development and he was the Chief Architect of the Columbus Small Business Agenda. Yas Motoyama is an Associate Professor at the Ohio State University. The two authors integrate their practice and academic knowledge into deep yet practical and actionable steps. </p><p><br></p><p><em>When I worked for the City of Miami FL trying to find equitable solutions to the affordable housing crisis many developers said they wanted to participate but needed a road map to how to navigate the complexities of the various available programs as well as the permitting bureaucracy attached to them. I think this Playbook authored by Henry and Yas can serve in the same way particularly where governments don't understand or have forgotten the importance of micro-enterprises small scale and incremental development and the quality of life and positive economic growth that equitable development can bring to a community.
