Index to Marriages in the (Baltlimore) Sun 1851-1860

Working from microfilm copies of The Sun newspaper Mr. Hollowak has succeeded in unearthing a rich store of genealogical data which but for his efforts likely would have remained buried well out of reach of the average researcher. In total something like 15000 marriages are recorded. With the frequent mention of other names mainly fathers of brides we find that altogether approximately 35000 persons are cited in the text. The entries are arranged alphabetically by bridegrooms' surnames. Following is the Family Index an index to brides and all other persons mentioned in the text.
