India and China Relations from 1991 to 2005

Sino-Indian relations refer to the ties and relations between India and China. The economic and diplomatic importance of India and China - the two most populous states in the world and the two emerging economies - has in recent years increased the significance of their bilateral relationship. They are emerging as world powers in economic and military terms. Their relationship has undergone in times of both war and peace. It has been characterized by both border disputes resulting in military conflict and by economic cooperation.
