After surviving Berkeley going berserk over the gender bender Amin Dalal returns home with a degree in advertising to see Mumbai having a Manhattan makeover. He finds himself in the hot seat when his father bags a lucrative contract with Apex Corporation and asks him to design their media campaign. The American giant plans to launch India’s first champagne “Amrit” with supermodel Vanna Mellons. They want Anil to Indianize her in exotic costumes and backdrops. But all hell breaks loose when the factory’s land deal sparks off a tribal agitation over illegal acquisition and Amin is caught in the crossfire. “India the Grape” is author-filmmaker C.S.Nag’s classic fable on how the sweet life can turn bitter when the grapes turn sour.
