INDIAN HISTORY : ITIHAS DRISHTI OF VISHVGURU

This book explores the Indian drishti to look into Indian history. I have never been in doubt about the necessity of history. The only question before me while writing this book was what should be the drishti to look at Indian history? Should it be hero centric? Should it be people centric? Should the political struggle be in center? Should it be a documentation of economic causes and consequences? Should social causes be the basis for historical events or should communal conflicts be considered as the basis? When India claims to be Vishv Guru what should be its Itihaas Drishti? Shouldnt it be knowledge centeric? Why should the chronology of India not to be on the basis of status of knowledge in India in that particular period?
