INDIAN POETRY IN ENGLISH

This book is an attempt to reconnoitre Indian English Poetry with reference to the socio-cultural perspective. Indeed socio-cultural themes in Indian English Poetry comprise a vast subject of study. This book holds importance as Indian English Poetry is yet to be fully explored from a socio-cultural point of view. It discusses how different socio-cultural and historical factors played an important role in influencing the responses of Indian poets writing in English.
