About The Book

First Published in 1999. Every school employing newly qualified teachers (NQTs) from 1999 onwards is required to provide them with structured support and training. This book offers comprehensive guidance to classroom teachers heads of department and senior managers on effective induction and mentoring. Much of its content will also relate to the mentoring of student teachers on school experience.
