Inflammatory bowel disease involves chronic inflammation of the digestive tract and its treatment through novel delivery systems. The disease appears to be immunologically mediated and have genetic and environmental influences. Although many type of treatment have been proposed and clinically proven additionally therapeutic approaches are needed because many patients don’t satisfactory response to the currently available drug because of significant side effects due to their prolonged use.
