Influence of ICT & managing work/life balance

This dossier aims to understand the profound changes that society has undergone in social economic and technological terms to arrive at the definition of this theme of work-life balance. Scientific research has noted the difficulty individuals have in coordinating environments that are often in opposition. This opposition is more and more visible through the diffusion of ICT to all aspects of our lives. The presupposition is that although ICT seems to lead to ever greater interference between domains it is also a means of controlling the demands of the environments as best as possible in order to facilitate their reconciliation. We therefore assume that there is indeed a strategic use that has a positive impact on reducing family-work conflicts.
