Information and Communication Technology or ICT has become abuzzword when talking about the technology the applications and thebenefits of information and telecommunications in all spheres ofEducation. It is therefore important that as we plan to integrate ICT in allthe school functions all users that are students academic staffadministration and management have got a clear understanding of whatis meant by ICT. The motivation here is not just a focus on technology butto study the impact of ICT on student’s Academic performance. Everyoneknows what it is; everyone can use it; but most people neither know norcare to know how it works. This research discusses in general terms ICTAwareness and its correlation with Academic Performance of secondaryschool students across different boards ICSE CBSE and SSC in India.
