Information Literacy in Albania: The Role of Libraries

This study is about the Albanian public’s understanding and awareness of Information Literacy (IL) and wants to promote a national discussion and foster “A National Action Plan”. I found the research to be extremely well done and highly relevant not just to Albania and the Balkan region but to developing countries also. Athina Basha has shown great foresight in recognizing the importance of IL to Albania - all of its sectors - public and private and to people in all walks of life.
