<p>Two sisters grow up in a small community in Somerset in the 60s and 70s.</p><p>Their home life is stultified by parents who are determined to keep up appearances of respectability even if it means ignoring the undercurrents of unhappiness and frustration which are felt by all four members of the family.</p><p>This is the story of how the girls try to find themselves and discover what really matters.</p><p></p>
