Innovation in the Physical Treatment of Grey Water

A determinant resource for the development of agricultural activities is water and the reuse of graywater presents itself as a viable alternative for the production and sustainable development of agriculture therefore the quality of water after physical treatment by hydrocyclone of graywater from a public laundry was evaluated aiming the reuse of water in agriculture. The research was conducted with graywater from the public laundry of the rural community of Ribeira located in the municipality of Cabaceiras Paraiba State. The physical treatment was performed by means of hydrocyclone and resulted in a reduction of 30% of turbidity and 44% of Chemical Oxygen Demand (COD).
