According to the World Health Organization one in four people in the world will be affected by mental or neurological disorders at some point in their lives. This is a staggering statistic most people dismiss by insisting it will never happen to them. Often times we dismiss these claims because we're scared of the term mental illness. We don't want to associate ourselves with it because time and time again the term is used to describe deranged dangerous psychotic evil lunatics confined in psychiatric institutions in horror films. This book of short stories and works aims to break that stereotype. It aims to reveal that having a mental illness doesn't make people defective. Just like any other minority being placed in the other category doesn't dehumanize us or make us any less valuable. In the end we're all people with one common goal-surviving the game of life.
