Inspector Bassé and the Winter Wolf

<p>In a world where werewolves still roam and sorcery is illegal policing in 19th-century France is complicated.<br><br>Inspector Bassé arrives on a crisp cold winter morning to take up his post as chief of the Bayeux commissariat to find his first case involves the drowning of one of his oldest friends. The coroner has written off the death as a drunken accident but the Inspector is not convinced.<br><br>As the bodies pile up and the snow comes down Inspector Bassé and his deputy Ouimet find themselves in a desperate race against time to hunt down the elusive Winter Wolf of Bayeux.</p>
