INTERCEPTION OF DEVELOPING CLASS II MALOCCLUSION

Class II is the most common and difficult to treat malocclusion as compared to other malocclusions due to its wide ranging varieties and interplay of various types of etiologic factors. It is very important to have adequate knowledge and correct understanding of the various types of class II malocclusion before instituting a treatment plan. There is no universal method for managing the condition. It is essential to have an adequate knowledge of normal growth pattern and various cephalometric analysis for proper diagnosis and treatment planning.
